Lonnie Ray Click, 76, of Alvaton, KY, passed away Friday, October 15, 2021, at Tristar Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, KY.
Lonnie was born on August 28, 1945, in Dent County, MO to the late Hugh “Bill” Click and Vergie Kinder Click. He married the late Jo Ann Ervin Click and later married Martha Stagner Click, who survives. He bravely served our country in the United States Marines Corps during the Vietnam War. Afterwards, Lonnie was a maintenance foreman for General Motors at the Corvette Bowling Green Assembly Plant. He retired in 2006 after 42 years with the company. He attended the Scottsville Church of Christ.
In addition to his wife, Martha Stagner Click of Alvaton, KY, he is survived by one son, Joe Click of Adolphus, KY; one daughter, Cindy Click of Alvaton, KY; three stepsons, Wes Connell of Salem, MO, Jason Connell of Ashland, MO, Elijah Connell of Whitehouse, TX; two stepdaughters, Cathy Thompson of Chesterfield, MO and Becky Hutchinson of Mountain View, MO;
Two brothers, Estele Click of Granite City, IL, and Harold D. Click and wife Lavada of Oklahoma City, OK; one sister, Helen Inman and husband Bobby Stephens of Salem, MO;
Three grandchildren; Johnathan Gill and wife Crystal, Lonnie Gill and Joleen Click. one great-grandchild Jenna Rae Gill. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his first wife and parents, Lonnie is preceded in death by one daughter, Jeannie Lindsay; three brothers, Earl Click, Charles Click, and Billy Click; one sister, Betty Stringer; two half-brothers, Roy Fox, and Lee Fox; one half-sister, Loraine Curley; and one grandchild, Robert Shane Lindsay.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at 1:00PM at Harwood & Strode Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Allen County Memorial Gardens in Scottsville, KY, with military rites performed by the DAV Chapter 20.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 19, 2021, from 5:00-8:00PM and Wednesday, October 20, 2021, after 7:30AM until time of the funeral service at Harwood & Strode Funeral Home.
