Robert Jones

Robert Wayne Jones, age 65, of Scottsville, KY passed away on, Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, KY.

He was born on February 21, 1956 in Franklin, KY to the late R.C. Jones and Agnes May Jenkins Jones. He married Sharon Marie Cox Jones, who survives, on August 17, 1979 in Springfield, TN. Robert retired from Old Dominion Freight where he worked as a driver on their logistics team. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

In addition to his wife Sharon Cox Jones of  Scottsville, KY; he is survived by one son; Eric Wayne Jones (Matthew Miller) of Springboro, OH; one daughter; Tiffany Jones Crowder (Daniel) of Scottsville, KY; one granddaughter; Lillian Miller of Springboro, OH; three Sisters; Mary Ann Belcher (Bobby) of Bowling Green, KY, Shirley Albert of Bowling Green, KY and Brenda Jones of Bowling Green, KY also survive.

In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by one sister Barbara Law.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at 11:00AM at Harwood & Strode Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Sulphur Springs Cemetery in Simpson County, KY.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 28, 2021, from 4:00PM-8:00PM and Wednesday, December 29, 2021, after 7:30AM until time of the funeral service at Harwood & Strode Funeral Home.
