Melvin Bilbrey

Melvin Claypool Bilbrey, 86 of Adolphus, KY passed away Friday, March 10, 2017, at his residence in Adolphus, KY. He was the Son of the late Willie R. Bilbrey and Pearlie Gore Bilbrey. He is survived by his wife Maggie Marie Crumpton Bilbrey of Adolphus, KY. Four daughters, Barbara Ann Renfrow of Glasgow, KY, Renee Irey of Bowling Green, KY, Debbie Bilbrey and husband Russell of Glasgow, KY, and Debra Rich and husband Mike of Goodlettsville, TN. Two brothers, Sterling Bilbrey of Scottsville, KY. Paul Bilbrey of Scottsville, KY Three sisters, Kathleen Gregory of Bowling Green, KY, Loree Moody of Franklin, KY, Frankie Kirby of Franklin, KY Eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive. In addition to his parents he is preceeded in death by one grandson Christopher Todd Norris four brothers Cecil, Chan, Jim, Bobby Bilbrey and one sister Ruby Davidson Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at the Harwood & Strode Funeral Home, Scottsville Chapel. Burial to follow in the Glasgow Cemetery in Glasgow, KY Visitation will be from 2:00 PM- 9:00 PM Sunday, March 12, 2017. 7:30 AM- 9:00 PM Monday, March 13, 2017, and 7:30 AM until time of Funeral Tuesday, March 14, 2017 Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association and can be made at the funeral home.
